With Cosmetology training, your skills will always be in demand and with a wide variety of career options that are available your choices are unlimited! As a licensed Cosmetologist, any career option you choose can offer you good income potential, flexibility and independence. As a Cosmetology student, you will be training in the variety of techniques and skills of cutting, coloring, perming, and styling the hair as well as skin and nail care. From the day you start your training, you will be using quality products and tools in practice and real-life settings. Our Educators are there to help you in learning the basic techniques so you can take your skills to the next level.

Cosmetology Course Outline

As of February 1st, 2012, our current tuition for the Cosmetology Course* is $15,495.00 plus $2500 kit fee which includes your books, uniforms and training equipment. Additional uniforms and kit items can be purchased separately if desired.

Nail Technology

Join the nail revolution!

Nails, just like hair, have their own following. People love the trends and techniques happening today – people want to show off their passion, pride or team spirit down to their nails with creative nail art, pops of color with long lasting finished results and they will come to you for those services because of the techniques you learned while in beauty school! The manicure license you can get in less than 6 months  is not all just color and nail art, it’s about helping people feel good about themselves with strong and healthy nails that you can help them achieve!

Student Instructor Course Outline

As of March 1st, 2012, our current cost for Instructor Training* is $7995.00. This includes your books for training as well as a student instructor jacket. Instructors may purchase a kit if they so choose. Additional jackets can be purchased separately if desired.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to those who qualify and we encourage all prospective students and parents to contact our Career Counselor at the school location nearest to you to answer any questions you may have. There are options available to assist you in making beauty school more affordable including PELL Grants, Student Loans, Career Training Loans and cash payment plans. Our Career Counselors will be able to give you the most up-to-date information on the programs and options available in your area.

Arizona Admissions & Enrollment Requirements

The school does not discriminate in its employment, admission, instruction, or graduation policies on the basis of age, race, handicap, creed, color, religion, financial status, ethnic origin, or sex. The school requires that each student enrolling in the Cosmetology or Nail Technology course is at least beyond the age of compulsory attendance.

At this time, the school does not accept Ability to Benefit students. [7/1/11]Prior to starting classes, students must:
1. Pay the applicable registration fee, which is refundable, if the applicant is rejected.
2. Provide proof of age and secondary education.


1. Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
2. Have met all requirements for licensure as a cosmetologist.
3. Be at least beyond the age of compulsory attendance.
4. One year experience as a cosmetologist.

Students enrolled under any associate high school program must meet the admission requirements set out in the training agreement and provide:

1. Proof of completion of the second year of high school or its equivalent;
2. Proof that the student is at least sixteen years of age;
3. Submit a complete student registration form and required fees at the school.


International Academy of Hair Design and Olympus Beauty Academy does not enroll student’s who are currently enrolled in another institution. We also do not solicit enrollment from another institution. It is our policy to refer the student back to their school to attempt to resolve their problems.
